How to develop knitting machinery has always been a topic of general concern. Recently, I interviewed the vice president of China Knitting Industry Association on the key research and development topics and technical guidance of knitting machinery industry. Q: how do you evaluate the domestic machinery manufacturing level and what are the highlights?

The application of domestic knitting machinery in the knitting industry has increased substantially, which is making an important contribution to the technological progress of the knitting industry. What's more, the manufacturing technology of domestic knitting machinery has been improved obviously. However, the existing gap should not be ignored.
Q: the industry generally believes that the manufacturing level of the major knitting machinery manufacturing enterprises has been improved more obviously. What is the main performance?
A: a number of knitting machinery manufacturing enterprises have gradually improved their ability of independent research and development, and the gap between the design and manufacturing level and the international advanced level has gradually narrowed. Conventional knitting machines are generally in good operation in knitting production, and electronic jacquard, electronic control, forming knitting and other models are also internationally advanced in some aspects. These machinery manufacturing gradually adapt to the knitting industry to produce high-quality, fashionable, personalized and fabric requirements. There are many examples of warp knitting machines and circular machines. It is worth noting that the intelligent level of the flat knitting machine is getting higher and higher. A series of relatively high-end technologies such as forming and knitting, automatic sewing, inlaying, three-dimensional jacquard and wearable weaving have become the dominant technology, playing an important role in the development of knitted fashion clothing and many products. Q: what do you think of the overall requirements for the development of knitting machinery?
Answer: efficient operation, intelligent control, specialized function, simple operation, etc.
No matter which type of equipment, it is necessary to ensure the quality of the fabric and improve the operation efficiency and stability. In terms of manufacturing technology, innovation is the key, but inheritance is also the foundation. The rationality of knitting machine design has been put forward for a long time, but the effect is not ideal. In recent years, some knitting machinery enterprises have paid attention to it, and some enterprises have consciously or unconsciously improved the rationality of knitting machinery design, which has improved the use performance of knitting machinery. Some machinery manufacturing enterprises have a long history of continuous improvement of design and manufacturing technology. Recently, the trial operation effect is superior, and the good application in knitting industry can be predicted. Knitting machine research and development must also add a key point: to be environmentally friendly. Green environmental protection, energy saving, low carbon and noise reduction are also important indicators to test knitting machinery manufacturing enterprises.
Q: what are the main research and development focuses of knitting machinery?
Answer: mechanical design optimization, weaving function expansion, use of high-tech materials, etc. In order to meet the requirements of deep development of varieties, high production efficiency and high quality of products, knitting machines can be reasonably set up with machine number, working range, looping system, wide winding device, optimization of machine structure and transmission mechanism, improvement of lubrication mode, etc. It is not necessary to simply pursue the design with high machine number and other manufacturing difficulties. Some key components are made of light and high-strength materials that are not sensitive to temperature changes, so as to effectively reduce the inertia of motion in the loop forming process and improve the stability of equipment operation. Q: can you talk about the application of information technology in knitting machine manufacturing?
A: This is the requirement of industry development. There are many achievements in the application of information technology in the knitting machinery industry, but they need to be strengthened and expanded. We need to accelerate the integration of technology and products. For example, through the computer simulation design, the movement of the circle forming parts is optimized, and the rationality of the cooperation with the relevant mechanisms is reasonable, so that the circle forming movement is more reasonable and stable, and adapt to the high-speed operation of the machine. In order to improve the automatic level of knitting product design and production management, for example, electronic control system and automatic control technology should be used in yarn feeding, jacquard, yarn breaking self-stop and auxiliary mechanism. For example, through the remote monitoring system, real-time master the operation of the machine.
Although there are many highlights, there is still a lot of room for improvement. Market mechanism will force the adjustment of knitting machinery manufacturing industry.
